We would like to reassure our delegates that your safety is always of the absolute utmost importance to us.
We want to ensure you have an enjoyable experience when you come to ACC Liverpool and that you remain safe.
We constantly review and monitor all of our security and safety procedures across all of our venues. Some of this happens behind the scenes. For example we work closely with Merseyside Police and our event organisers to ensure the appropriate security checks and requirements are in place.
We have a team of dedicated security and stewarding staff who are highly trained and experienced. In addition, you may see police officers at our site.
Every visitor who comes to ACC Liverpool may have their bags searched. We therefore ask you to consider keeping bags and possessions to a minimum. We would also ask you to consider the size of your bags, no larger than a laptop bag is advisable. Please note that large bags and suitcases will also be searched.
Sniffer dogs may be seen around the venue prior to and during events. Again they are an additional measure to contribute to your safety.
We ask you to remain vigilant. Please alert our stewards if you notice anything you feel uncomfortable with. Your safety and your enjoyment are paramount to us.

Generally you can, but individual conferences may restrict the use of a camera or other recording device and ACC Liverpool will enforce these restrictions on their behalf.
Yes, the auditorium includes 33 accessible bays each with accompanying seat for a personal assistant. There are six accessible toilets throughout the conference and exhibition centre, and four for the auditorium.
Yes, there are designated bicycle racks on the riverside of the venue.
We only allow guide dogs and hearing dogs.
ACC Liverpool welcomes members of the public taking photographs of the building and surrounding areas. That said, given the sensitive nature of some events we reserve the right to challenge visitors in order to protect the safety of the general public and visitors to our venues.
You can use your card in our Galleria coffee shop.
From 1st July 2007, smoking has been banned in all enclosed public spaces. Anyone found smoking anywhere within the venue will be requested to leave.
The use of electronic cigarettes is prohibited within ACC Liverpool.

The drop off/pick up point is on Monarch’s Quay, adjacent to the venue. A taxi rank is located on the riverside of the venue. View the map to find the drop off/pick up point.
We have a Guest Relations desk in the Galleria level. Our Guest Relations team will be able to help you with any general information about the building, events, local area, and help you with any other information you require.
The piazza offers an outdoor area for all ACC Liverpool visitors to use and enjoy.
ACC Liverpool is easily accessible for visitors and their personal assistants. Parking is adjacent to the venue with dedicated accessible spaces and there is ramp and lift access to conference rooms and halls internally. Pay and display on-site car parking is available at the temporary Liverpool Waterfront Car Park with accessible spaces and open 24 hours a day.

The nearest cash machine is in the Royal Albert Dock.
ACC Liverpool has achieved the Breastfeeding Mayoral Quality Mark from Liverpool Bambis. As a venue we welcome babies to be breastfed in any public area of these premises and a mother who is breastfeeding will not be asked to move or stop breastfeeding. We understand that some women prefer privacy when breastfeeding and a room will be allocated on request to allow a mother visiting us to breastfeed in private.
